Theme: Sustainable Sugarcane Production

Although the theme is sustainable sugarcane production, we will have feature sessions on:

Techniques for increasing profitability
Techniques for sustaining production resources
Minimising environmental impacts

We encourage participants to submit papers covering the topics of Precision Agriculture (PA), aspects of Climate Variability, Harvesting Efficiency, and novel Planting Techniques.

The number of workshop participants is limited to 80 attendees. The workshop will be conducted in English.

No proceedings will be published. Only abstracts submitted by participants will be distributed at the workshop. However, abstracts and PowerPoint presentations (if author permission is granted) will be posted on this website with a link from the ISSCT website.

Participants can expect a number of engaging guest speakers focusing on topics of interest relating to the subjects highlighted above.
